Disney World Orlando, known worldwide for their wide parks, have just opened a new attraction for the public to enjoy. Welcome to Pandora: The World of Avatar— the stunning new park you can visit in Animal Kingdom. From the floating mountains to the Pandora animal and plant life, you will be blown away, and that is before you ride on Flight of Passage.
Inspired by James Cameron’s Avatar, this new world in the Animal Kingdom features the fantasy world of Pandora, which can be experienced through different activities. On top of that, you can even get to try the native yet exotic (at least in our world) dishes from The World of Avatar. If you are a fan of Icee and Tango Ice Blast, you have to try a Night Blossom!

- Avatar Flight of Passage

Highlights:
Get to see the world of Pandora from above the ground on the back of a mountain Banshee.
This 3D ride will fascinate you with the realistic and majestic views of Pandora while you get to learn its flora and fauna through this tour. Feel and soar like an eagle (or Banshee) through this unforgettable ride you’ll never regret trying.
The ride is suitable for most people. The seat is very similar to riding on a motor bike. My daughter first tried the ride when she was 7 and my 65 year old Mum loves it too.
Its a very special ride. It reminds me of Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey at Universal Islands of Adenture with more modern technology.
When you get off the ride you find a gift shop and outside the gift shop are the quick service dining options.
- Na’vi River Journey

For those who think the Avatar Flight of Passage’s level of the thrill is too high and unmanageable for them, we have Na’vi River Journey. Simply enjoy the serenity of Pandora as you journey through the river. See the Na’vi and experience a peaceful and relaxing journey. A lot of people find the ride to be a bit, dare I say it boring. I think it’s really cool to see the theming of the rider and I enjoy it. There are no thrills on the ride. Think It’s a Small World but in Pandora.
Highlights:
So the Na’vi River Journey introduces the environment of Pandora but in a calmer, more tranquil ride experience. Riders will board a boat in a river which will take them to a dark rainforest housing bioluminescent plants which are delightful to behold. This reed boat adventure finishes with the riders witnessing the power of the Shaman of Songs. You’ll like it but don’t queue for too long.
- Valley of Mo’ara

Highlights:
If you want to experience a real walk through and not just through 3D representations, then the Valley of Mo’ara is the place for you. In this park, you will get to see the flora and fauna of the Valley of Mo’ara and witness the bioluminescent plants come to light at night. Aside from the floating mountains and the amazing environment, the Valley of Mo’ara is also home to many other sights to see and shopping and dining stalls for you to enjoy.

Quench your thirst with this drink made colorful by bioluminescent jelly-like tapioca. This frozen cocktail’s name derived from the Na’vi word “pongu”, which means “party”—thus having the meaning “party party”. The party-like feel is reflected by the wondrous color combinations made by the tapioca and the drink itself which is also made more festive with the sweetness it gives as it quenches your thirst.
