Plan Your Perfect Beach Day – Clearwater Beach

Clearwater Beach is the most developed barrier island on the Tampa Bay Beaches. In contrast to the other island villages, Clearwater Beach is included in the City of Clearwater. Today, visitors worldwide go to Clearwater Beach to enjoy the resorts, activities, leisure, restaurants, and shopping.

Clearwater Beach has been repeatedly voted as the best beach globally by numerous organizations. It has developed a reputation as an ideal vacation destination for people of all ages from all over the world. Families, couples, and young individuals all vacation here. Clearwater Beach provides something for everyone. From some of the best seafood restaurants on Florida’s gulf coast to recreational activities such as boat excursions, fishing, parasailing, and world-class hotels and resorts.

People rush to Pier 60 on Clearwater Beach two hours before the sun sets into the Gulf of Mexico to salute the lowering of the sun. The scenes force you to come out and celebrate as local artisans and crafters sell handmade wares. Street performers dazzle with incredible feats of ability, all while dancing to the beat of live music emanating from the Pier 60 Pavilion.

Visit the Clearwater Marine Aquarium in Florida

A vacation to Clearwater Beach would be incomplete without a stop at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium. CMA is home to rescued dolphins, sea turtles, sharks, and other marine wildlife. Winter, the dolphin with a prosthetic tail who inspired the film Dolphin Tale, is featured here. In contrast to many aquariums, this facility’s primary mission is to rehabilitate injured marine animals and seabirds or provide them with a permanent home if they cannot live in the wild.

Places to visit in Clearwater Beach

State Park on Honeymoon Island

This lovely island was called to function as the honeymoon destination for the early 1900s winners of Life magazine’s newlywed contest. It has remained a popular holiday spot ever since, owing to its lovely white sand beaches. It’s unsurprising that the island’s protected portion, Honeymoon Island State Park, continues to be one of the most visited state parks in Florida.

Field of the Spectrum

Fans travel to the Clearwater area – notably Spectrum Field – to see their favorite Philadelphia Phillies compete during Major League Baseball’s spring training season. However, this field is not just for Phillies supporters. If you’d rather support a local team, try attending a Clearwater Threshers minor league baseball game. Between April and September, the team normally plays 70 home games.

Sand Key State Park

Take Gulf Boulevard south to Sand Key Park if you wish to travel outside the main Clearwater Beach area. This 95-acre beach park features a white sand beach and a park with plenty of picnic areas and opportunities to see wildlife. A popular area of the park is a salt marsh with benches for relaxation and bird watching. You may see herons, roseate spoonbills, and great horned owls here.

Caladesi Island State Park

This protected area of Caladesi Island, located north of Clearwater Beach but south of Honeymoon Island State Park, is a terrific attraction for nature enthusiasts and anyone seeking a little peace. Recent visitors lauded the state park’s pristine natural sections and sparsely inhabited beachfront, noting that these beaches – routinely rated among the best in the area – are substantially less crowded than Clearwater Beach’s major stretch of sand.

Caladesi Island State Park, in addition to its lovely coastline, offers extensive fishing, hiking, and picnicking options.
